(20) Cattle Class

Dear Mr. Pankaj Khanna,

As you are no doubt cognisant, the venerable Saar has, for many years, maintained an unwavering philosophical reservation about conversing with or, indeed, travelling alongside the so-called "Cattle Class."

That memorable doctrinal proclamation in 2009 has long since entered the annals of public discourse. We humble interns, therefore, have been entrusted with the solemn responsibility of engaging with the hoi polloi, thereby insulating Saar from the logistical and conversational exigencies of terrestrial democracy.

Should any lingering uncertainty afflict you regarding your own taxonomical placement within this grand social menagerie, may I respectfully recommend a leisurely perusal of your own blogs?

Their bucolic ambience, redolent with the unmistakable perfume of freshly consecrated cow dung and pastoral nostalgia, ought to furnish all the classificatory evidence one could reasonably require.

I also had the opportunity to peruse your blog, Epeolatry, and was pleased to find that you have ventured into the fascinating bylanes of what you indulgently call “Tharoorian” Vocabulary.

What surprised me, however, was the relative frugality of your lexical excursions. The handful of recherché expressions you employ scarcely does justice to the blog’s promising title based on Saar's Surname.

Instead, your intellectual energies appear to be devoted with commendable enthusiasm to the Sangeet trilogy:Tawa Sangeet, Rail Sangeet, and Cycle Sangeet; a preoccupation as curious as it is persistent.

Might I venture a mildly impertinent suggestion? Were you to lavish upon Epeolatry the same sustained attention that you bestow upon your musical trinity, you might yet discover that celebrity is less elusive than you imagine. After all, in the crowded republic of ideas, consistency is often a more reliable passport to distinction than occasional brilliance.
